YA Books Turned Movies

I’m not ashamed to say that Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 is my most highly anticipated movie of the summer.

Here are some upcoming movies based on YA books:

Oct. 3: Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist based on the book by Rachel Cohn and Davd Levithan

Oct. 10: City of Ember based on the book by Jeanne DuPrau

Nov. 21: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince based on the book by JK Rowling (duh)

Dec. 12: Youth in Revolt based on the book by CD Payne

Dec. 12: Twilight based on the book by Stephenie Meyer

Jan. 30: Inkheart based on the book by Cornelia Funke

Annnd, not based on a book, but sure to cause a stir in the tween and teen set:

Oct. 24: High School Musical 3: Senior Year
