Publisher’s Weekly reports that YA novel The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan (a colonial zombie thriller!) is being fast-tracked to the big screen.

A heart-breaking tale of a young girl’s death to bulimia six years ago, told by a friend of the family. Reminds me a lot of Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson.
